Air Pressure Engine

This system is unlike most air pressure concepts because it recycles pressure in a closed loop system.

The two large ovals are air pressure tanks.  The lower tank is the main storage for pneumatic pressure and would run the length of the car.  The upper recovery tank is then transverse within the engine compartment.  Below the recovery tank is the turbo compressor assembly. 

From left to right the components are as follows ;  generator , pneumatic impeller,

electromagnetic clutch ( advances the field coil for the electric motor) , thru bore current transfer slip ring,   electric motor with advancing field coil, commutator,   advancing field coil (drives the turbo compressor), armature attached to the turbo compressor, commutator,   turbo compressor. 

Air pressure post turbo compressor fills the main pressure storage tank.  The main pressure storage tank vents pressure to the main generator assembly.  This aids in reduction of required current to sustain rotation. The pressure impales an impeller attached to the drive shaft.

The main generator assembly is as follows from left to right;  Pulley and belt assembly ( drives the alternator , power steering , air conditioning ) , generator, electromagnetic clutch, thru bore current transfer slip ring,  advancing field coil and armature, commutator,  generator,  and pneumatic impeller. Between the electromagnetic clutch and the advancing field coil is a thru-bore current transfer slip ring.

This applies to both assemblies. Also a magnetic insulator is wrapped between the advancing field coils and the electromagnetic clutch.  The pneumatic flow lines are grounded due to static electricity. The small circles are required bearing points.

The turbo compressor assembly speeds up on pressure displacement of the turbo compressor reducing the amount of current required for high speed flow to occur. 

The turbo compressor assembly will self sustain.  The main generator assembly will produce excess current fed to the forward electric motor and transmission that drive the car.  The chemical batteries are for speed in re-start and will be charged by the system running.

This engine systems has multiple pathways of operation.  This is in the event of component failure.  Should the turbo cycle fail the system will increase current to the drive motor for the generator assembly and continue to run. The system will also have the ability to drive short distance on battery direct cycle.
